A peek at my summer idyll.

In case you think that I am just one big grumble at the moment I thought I would remind myself, and show you, that there have been some idyllic moments over the summer at the new hovel.

Here are some photos which I haven't even doctored to show why life is good. I need to remember these things more often. It is all too easy to get sucked down by the vexing things, and forget the perfect moments. This will serve as a reminder for me.

Notsupermum - there are moments when everything comes together! I took that one on Saturday last weekend. The first time it has really felt like summer since MAY.
Elizabeth - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds until Sunday so that you can see it in a 'non soggy' state.
Wendy - Things are good, truly. I just forget they are sometimes!
Cathy - it does have it's moments. I expect the forthcoming winter shots will change everyone's minds though.
Milla - OK, I'll say nothing. Love the idea that my garden might make somebody snarl with rage and envy though! At the moment it is more of a space than a garden. Next year I hope all my plans will start coming together and there really will be a garden here. At the moment there is just a lot of hard labour and plotting.
Bevchen - it's not bad for a back yard is it?

Welsh Girl! You are going to get a visit from American Girl just as soon as I can save the gigantic amount of money it would cost to travel there. It is so so so beautiful. I would strip down to my worn out grannie panties to live there.
