In, Out, In, Out - shake it all about.

I made it out, I made it back in again. Now I am sitting watching the snow fall and plotting how I pack for three days of work meetings in just one small bag that I can carry, whilst wearing suitable clothes that I can walk out in this afternoon. Not only do I need clothes but also work stuff. I may have to do two trips to the car which is a real bore. I think that minimal changes are the way forwards and I shall have to risk smelling by the time Thursday comes around...

It is bloody snowing AGAIN. Another two inches overnight and more as I watch. It is also drifting which will make the road over the hill fun to traverse. If one more person tells me 'it is thawing now' I shall come down off my mountain like an enraged yeti and stuff snow in their mouth until they eat their words....

Dude. Your stories of snow are like science fiction to me. Does it really exist? It froze here for like 4 hours for the past 3 nights and I freaked out about my chickens the whole time. Two years ago the city froze for two days (it dropped into the 20s --farenheight--) and the city closed down.

I was really excited yesterday when I saw icicles.

I have really had enough of it now. I will have to walk out to the car today, not even just to the next door farm where we have been leaving it but right down the hill. The wind is blowing everything about and it is bloody FREEZING!! Bring on the thaw right now.

I am very, VERY tired of the snow now, having not been able to get into work for over a week. And then last night, it really looked as though I would be ok to go today. except I woke up this morning to MORE snow, and the road and train chaos that follows. Grrr.
I feel your pain....

Singlutionary - I can send you some if you want and you can recreate your own welsh wonderland. I have plenty to spare...
Anon - ouch indeed. Now stop showing off. 113f? Send some of it over here could you and I'll use it to melt the white world around me.
Elizabethm - I second that.
Mud - Don't even go there. As I sit shivering whilst I write this I can't remember what it is like to be hot.
justme - has it all gone now and are you back to normal?
